Keeping Eternity in RE-View (September)

How are you doing with your book? We started January 2022 with a challenge; to look at our lives as a book that contains 12 chapters with 365 pages. I am taking the challenge myself. Let’s review some of the September topics that I have chosen to be in my book:

PRINTING MINISTRY:

• Printing projects for churches/ministries (13) or individuals/businesses (05)

• Churches/ministries: 8,262 pieces (12 Banners)
• Little Messages / CMS Tracts printed = 27,000 pieces
• Individuals/businesses: 3,200 pieces
• TOTAL for September = 38,462 pieces

• EDDM mailings (0) 000 total pieces were sent to homes and businesses

• Direct mailing pieces = 0000 pieces

CMS DONATIONS:

During September, we donated our time to help:

• A local Christian Therapist with his stationery needs.
• A local Christian school needed 12 banners for their upcoming fundraiser; we designed them at no cost.
• We created a new business card for the Case Music Ministry.
• We designed stationery and business cards for another FL ministry.
• Biblical Family Ministry, by editing and laying out their newsletter.
• A local eye doctor with his new business card design.
• Edited a flyer for a local community subdivision.
• Designed two new tracts for Buckingham Baptist Church.

After the above tasks were approved, we printed all of their projects.

FAITHFUL LIFE CLUB is ready to launch. Launching the ministry in your church this year is probably too late. However, we have lessons for the first quarter that are ready whenever you are. Would you like to see a BRIEF INTRODUCTION for your church? Contact us ASAP.

If not this year, maybe you could start this in your church next year!

FAITHFUL LIFE CLUB will impact Bible-believing church families who have children, four-year-olds through the sixth grade. This ministry will help families soar toward Christlikeness. The Club program, designed to be implemented during the mid-week service time, is very versatile; it will even work during the Sunday school hour or for Christian schools and homeschoolers.

This year the program will be available in English, and next year’s goal (2023-2024) will be to provide it in Spanish.

We need prayer and financial support to help with the FAITHFUL LIFE CLUB ministry.

We need prayer!

• For reaching new churches/ministries (this year and next).
• To have creative, directional ideas and for the development of marketing materials.
• Translation work into Spanish for next season. We already have someone who is going to do this for us.
• For developing a new, Faithful Life Club Songbook for instrumentalists and children. There will be many traditional and new songs that will be introduced. Pray for the person helping me with this project.
• I will be working on a new book on the process of introducing Christian virtues and values to children. The focus will be on developing church workers who will work alongside parents in the task. A few authors from Faithful Life Publishers have agreed to let me quote from their books. All royalties will be poured into Faithful Life Club.

We still have financial support needs of over $3,400 to expand the program. We praise the Lord for love gifts during August, which permitted us to purchase a sizeable in-house color copier system. We were given bookbinding materials to assemble sample leadership binders, student handbooks, game books, and songbooks.

I still need to design a logo that can be screen printed onto the clubber’s shirts and one simple enough to be embroidered onto staff shirts. The first logo was too complicated for the seamstress. It sure looks great on the flag.

We have employed a commercial artist who has created NINE original drawings, which will be used in the Fall Cadet handbooks and turned into Flashcards and posters. The illustrator’s work is far from over; there are forty-five illustrations to go over the next two years, and they will cost an extra $2000. We also need funds for the SPANISH translator and typesetter before they can start their work.

A BRAND NEW WEBSITE for CMS

We have used this email address, [email protected], for years. But this ministry has never had its own website; it was buried in the Faithful Life Publishers website. Sharing this website was confusing and made it difficult for this particular ministry to be noticed.

THAT HAS ALL CHANGED!!!

We went live with the new site in September. There are 94 Little Messages, Original Tracts, and features on the new site; several you have never seen or used before. A huge bonus will be that ALL tracts will come with FREE SHIPPING! You can contact us in so many new unique ways.

We have divided the 94 tracts and displays into SEVEN different categories:

1. Evangelistic Little Messages
2. Thank You (TIP cards)
3. Seasonal Little Messages
4. Encouragement Little Messages
5. Folding Tract Cards (3.5 x 4 inches)
6. Quality Tracts (4 and 6 panels folded down to 3.5 x 6 inches)

I spoke on September 11 at Winkler Road Baptist Church’s auditorium Sunday school class.

Winkler Road has asked me to also speak on October 12 during the Wednesday evening service.
